Dial wanted to improve their annual Innovation Day, a day focused on cutting edge innovations and industry trends, as a means of helping their team members generate more creative new product ideas. Dial asked Play to design and lead a creative learning experience to make the day most effective.

From the first phone call, the team at Play began the execution of a new action plan for the big day, both in event and program design. The Play team created a new experience-filled itinerary for the event that included such areas as "disaster rooms," which were rooms that recreated common household disasters that Dial products could easily remedy, such as stained clothes and muddy carpets. We also incorporated our Birdwatching program, a creative action program that utilizes team building and creative coaching into the day's itinerary. The result was an engaging and creative program that pushed the boundaries of creative thought and product innovation. The program produced the critical dual output of new ideas and a mindset shift.
